Colorful spices are a common site in Moroccan markets. This particular display is labeled, with each spice showing for what it is supposed to be used, rather than naming the spice. They say things like fish, chicken, tagine – but in French – a commonly spoken language although the official languages of the country are Arabic and Berber.
